Briefing on information security for humanitarian NGOs

This briefing paper aims to enable humanitarian NGOs to conduct an informed analysis of their information management practices in the field.

It is based largely upon interviews with Security Focal Points and information managers in humanitarian NGOs, and is useful for integrating information management with risk management processes. Page 6 contains a useful flow-chart for assessing what information you need to hold.
